What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What's a funnel marketing strategy? Why do online marketers need to create one?

It is a marketing strategy that is used to convince potential customers to buy products from your site. It's a sales method where a customer comes to your blog seeking information that could help to solve a particular problem. Through certain tools, however you will be able to learn to develop an understanding and establish trust with each visitor.

This will allow you to understand the needs and wants of every visitor. This will help you to offer the best possible information for all users. Once you gain the trust of a potential customer, that person will be more comfortable purchasing products. The customer becomes the visitor.

Many customers become loyal customers over time, and will be more likely to buy each item on your site. A marketing funnel consists of the different stages of sales that it takes to transform a regular website visitor into an extremely loyal customer who is willing to purchase everything you can throw at them.

For every internet marketing professional that is their ultimate goal. It is possible to achieve this with a well-constructed funnel.

Your marketing tools are attracted the attention of people and bringing them into your funnel. When they fill out the form that you have on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page they enter the funnel. Because nobody is going to opt-in on your business' lead capture page, I have declared it "personal". They want to be a leader and not a company.

The lead capture page acts as an entry point to the funnel. Clicking the "Sign up now" as well as "Enter Here" buttons will open an entirely new world of network marketing.

It is their decision. It's up to them. You've not offered anything other than that you're a leader, mentor and someone who will show them how to get more leads, and also more cash in their businesses.

This is the way a typical funnel works.

The "front-end", you can make a promotional offer that will attract and qualify potential customers who might be interested in purchasing your products later down the sales funnel. You must sign up to get the product (also known as opt-in) and then enter your email address and name. Then, they will be added to your email marketing list.

Now, you've got those contacts on your list of email addresses and you can also send similar offers to them that they may be interested in.

After sign-up to receive the free offer, they will be taken to a page that has a low-cost offer or what's called a trip wire offer. This is the point when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of the funnel.

If the buyer purchases the lowest priced deal, they will be taken directly to a similar offer at a more expensive price (commonly known as an Upsell). Also, the buyer will be transferred to the next offer when they purchase the same deal at a higher cost. This process can continue for several years.
